I'm back again. Yet again.
Where gave I been?
I always wanted my blog to be honest, to inspire others to have a better life, and to look and feel good. Quite humble aims, really. But it did feel a tad dishonest about writing about these when I was literally going under. Again. Plus I was exhausted and unwell. So I didn't write my blogs. I ended up getting sicker and weaker.
The second surgery, was a three hour redo of the first one. The first one was "emergency, five hours, acute". I felt as I went into that first surgery that it was truly do or die. If you want to be seen quick in A and E, be loudly delirious, in a wheel chair, rocking and moaning in acute pain. Drugged to the max after for four days. Not allowed up until the fifth.
However, with this surgery, apart from the first twenty-four hours, recovery has been so much swifter and easier. Of course. The lead up to the first was an unbelievable horror story. But I am so grateful for it, as it literally saved my life.
However, I never really fully recovered from the first operation. All sorts of difficult physical things happened over the following two and a half years. Whereas, I now feel as though I've been given a new lease on life.
What kept me going over the years, to do with the whole lifelong saga, were truly the knowledge and techniques that I had gained from both yoga, and Maori healing and spirituality. Both paths are so profound especially when one immerses oneself into the spiritual areas of each. I knew some old, little known yoga techniques for revitalising oneself, and seriously, this played a major part in just being able to keep going. Plus ancient Maori chants for health and recovery. I use these chants as a healer, too.
Anyways, this is why I've been largely absent from social media, and my blogs. But I'm back and am seriously hoping that I can maintain blogging. Because I really do enjoy it. I'll probably do a few restore posts along the way, of what has been working for me in rebuilding my health and strength. And just maybe, some of these will be helpful to others.
and another
I'm sorry you've had more health issues to deal with, Ratnamurti, but, glad you are on the mend now after another surgery. Welcome back to blogging. :)
