another turn around the sun

I absolutely love Jonquils. And I got some for my birthday!! And yes, the fudge and choccies did not last long. I love fragrant soaps and prefer them to body washes. And, that's a wee dried flower arrangement. To keep. Lucky me.

October is my favourite month. I always call it Rocktober, which was what it was named by a renegade radio station many decades ago, when I was a young mum.

Birthday smellies. A Libran lady can never have too many (true)

Plus, it's spring here, in Aotearoa New Zealand.  At some stage in early October, the weather changes dramatically in a day. From cold, windy, rainy, grey, miserable, to warm and so sunny. It happened recently. Quickly. (thank you Universe)

Heaters go off, winter clothes are just too hot, summer clothes are dragged out in preparation for a hot summer. Porridge and soups are put aside in favour of lighter food (or is this just me?)

Grandchild love

Lambing season starts, mysteriously, when its still scarily cold for the wee new-born lambikins. I got to pat a new lamb, for the first time, ever, this year. Lucky me. They are unbelievably cute.

The spring flowers have been out in profusion for a wee while. And that is just so beautiful.

And in the first October week, it was my birthday. Which makes me a Libran. Actually I'm a double Libran, and the most Libran person whom I know. Most of us Librans are nice. We like balance, harmony, beauty, and are passionate about truth, fairness and justice. Most of us, but of course there are exceptions.....

Another year around the sun, as they say. Lots of birthday wishes from family and friends. And gifts. Lucky me.

I'm busy working out how I want this solar year to be, plans, etc. Apparently, in 2027,  my health and lots of other life aspects, improve, according to my wonderful astrologer daughter. (I'm very proud of her) This year has not been so helpful. I can wait things out until things change.

Having a very good astrologer in one's life.... it is such a blessing. Again, lucky me.

When the stars align, we either have to see difficult times through, or, happily, enjoy the aligning of auspiciously good aspects. I'm excited about this for 2027.

What about you? Is there anything that you're looking forward to over the end of this year and the beginning of next?
